Description

The Crystal Quest Whole Establishment Water Filter from Healthy Hydro Supply Co is engineered for maximum filtration, strong performance, and minimum maintenance. Designed for whole house and commercial water treatment, this system delivers dependable operation for homes, businesses, and full-establishment water filtration needs.

This advanced whole-establishment filtration system moves water through 5 stages of filtration to help reduce many contaminants from the water supply. It is designed for long-term, trouble-free operation while helping protect connected water softeners, filters, control valves, and pumps.

In the first stage, water flows through a 20" sediment cartridge that removes sediment, silt, sand, and dirt. This stage helps protect the rest of the system by reducing larger particles before water reaches the main filtration media.

Next, water flows through a 1.5 or 2.0 cubic foot media tank equipped with an Automatic Microprocessor Control Valve. The longer the water remains in contact with the filtration media, the more effective the water conditioning and filtration process can be.

Finally, water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge for final water conditioning. This stage helps reduce any remaining contaminants and VOCs that may still be present in the water.

The system uses solid 316 stainless steel tanks with heavy-duty, burst-proof construction for long-term use. Each system is filled with high-capacity filtration resins and includes a riser-style 1" internal flow distributor, an 11.0 gallon-per-minute flow rate, and a 3/4" or 1" stainless steel bypass valve.

This unit requires no electricity and uses a manual backwashing system. Only periodic backwashing is needed to help keep the system in top condition. Resin media is easy to replace approximately every 3 to 5 years, depending on water conditions and system usage.

Additional Product Options

12 GPM UV Water Sterilizer
The optional 12 GPM UV Water Sterilizer is designed for demanding microorganism control concerns. These microorganisms may include bacteria, viruses, algae, and protozoa. UV treatment can disinfect water faster than chlorine without bulky retention tanks or adding harsh chemicals to drinking water.

Leak Detector Valve
The optional Leak Detector Valve detects water leaks inside the filter system and shuts down the water supply to help prevent flooding and property damage.

Vacuum Breaker
A Vacuum Breaker is recommended for installation inline ahead of water filter systems. It helps protect against the rare occurrence of negative pressure, or vacuum pressure, in the water line, which can damage filter tanks and housings.

Metered Valve
The system comes standard with a timer valve, which runs backwashing on a set number of days, such as every 7 days. The optional metered valve runs backwashing based on a set number of gallons, such as every 3,000 gallons.

Oxidation System
The optional Oxidation System uses ozone for efficient water oxidation and improved water quality.
