Description

Crystal Quest® Pleated Cellulose Sediment Cartridges are designed for general water filtration and sediment reduction. Available from Healthy Hydro Supply Co, these 5-micron sediment filter cartridges help capture fine particles from water while supporting steady filtration performance in compatible water filter housings.

Each cartridge is manufactured with pleated cellulose media wrapped around a polypropylene core for added strength. The pleated design increases the available filter surface area, helping maximize dirt-holding capacity and extend usable filter life under normal conditions.

The cartridge is built with polypropylene fiber media, vinyl plastisol end caps, and polyethylene netting. The ends are immersed in a thermo-setting vinyl plastisol to support cartridge structure and durability during filtration.

These sediment cartridges are rated for a temperature range of 40°F to 145°F, or 4.4°C to 62.8°C.

Estimated filter life varies by model and water conditions. CQE-RC-04015 has an estimated 18–24 month capacity, while the remaining models have an estimated 12–18 month capacity. Actual capacity depends on incoming water contaminants, water quality, and filter usage.
