Description
Crystal Quest Eaglesorb Anti-Scale Media is a salt-less, non-chemical hard water treatment medium designed to help control scale without adding anything to the water. Available from Healthy Hydro Supply Co, Eaglesorb ES3 supports hard water treatment by helping prevent scale buildup in compatible water filtration and conditioning systems.
When using Eaglesorb ES3, nothing is added to the water. The calcium carbonate crystals formed by ES3 remain dissolved in the water, helping reduce the formation of hard scale deposits. This media is designed to help prevent scale buildup, support the breakdown of previous buildup, and reduce scaling on the surfaces of heat sources, fixtures, and appliances.
This anti-scale media is a strong option for customers looking for a salt-free water conditioning solution, non-chemical hard water treatment, or scale prevention media for plumbing systems, water heaters, fixtures, and water-using appliances.
For best performance, the correct amount of media should be based on the original system purchased. Pre-treatment is required when iron, manganese, copper, oil, chloride, hydrogen sulfide, phosphate, or chlorine above 3 PPM are present in the water.
When hardness levels reach 25 GPG or higher, pre-treatment or additional media may be required. For these higher-hardness applications, consult a water treatment specialist before selecting or sizing the system.
