Description
The Eagle Whole House Water Filter is built for homeowners who want whole house filtration with sediment pre-filtration, carbon block post-filtration, ultrafiltration support, alkalizing media, coconut shell GAC, and Eagle Redox Alloy® media.
Water first flows through a 20-inch sediment cartridge to help reduce sediment, silt, sand, and dirt before entering the main filtration system.
After the main Eagle filtration process, water flows through post-filtration stages, including a 20-inch solid carbon cartridge and a 20-inch 0.2-micron ultrafiltration membrane.
The Eagle media section uses a special blend of calcium carbonate media to alkalize, ionize, remineralizer, and raise the pH level of the water. Water also travels through a special blend of natural mineral and infrared balls in the ionizer media.
The system also includes coconut shell granulated activated carbon, listed as arsenic-free GAC, which supports reduction of organic contaminants, bad taste, and odors.
Water also flows through two beds of Eagle Redox Alloy® media, including ERA® 6500 and ERA® 9500. This media uses electrochemical oxidation-reduction and adsorption action to support reduction of unwanted contaminants.
The Eagle Whole House Water Filter is available in multiple configurations, including Standalone, With Salt-Free Conditioner, and With Softener. Tank structure options include Fiberglass and Stainless Steel.
Capacity is selected based on home size and bathroom count. The 1.5 cubic foot system is listed for 1–3 bathrooms, with 1,000,000 gallon capacity and 9–11 GPM service flow. The 2.0 cubic foot system is listed for 2–4 bathrooms, with 1,500,000 gallon capacity and 10–13 GPM service flow.
